In 2019 Loch Ness Knitting was awarded funding from the Creative Scotland Go, See, Share project to explore sustainable textiles ideas in The Netherlands. We visited many interesting places on our trip and one of the most colourful and inspirational was our trip to the Windmills at Zaans Schaans. This wonderful day out was a lesson that sustainable practices don't always mean the latest shiny technology, sometimes the old ways have a lot to teach us too.
